Individual Therapy

One-on-one therapy can be a positive support for those struggling with private issues that affect their everyday life. Care provided during our confidential sessions is designed to assist with recognizing behavioral and thought patterns, and work toward gaining coping skills to overcome the issues that are interfering with life.  Everyone is capable of living their best life, sometimes individuals need additional tools to fulfill it. Individual therapy creates a safe space for adults to work through life’s most difficult issues and emotions. After sessions clients begin to feel better than ever before. Together, we can create the change you want in your life.

 

Dr. Christensen also specializes in women’s issues and supports women who struggle with self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and overcoming trauma. So much pain and suffering is caused by what we say to ourselves.  Female-focused therapy, empowers women to regain equilibrium. Understanding feelings and behaviors is one of the first steps to bringing positive changes to one's life and well-being. Then, learning new ways of being oneself within significant relationships is an important second step.  Dr. Christensen is dedicated to building women up so they may accept past personal choices and actions that have caused them feelings of shame and insecurity.  It is possible to overcome negative old beliefs and replace them with a positive and affirming outlook on the best life possible.
